Your character has three traits that you can level up, depending on the choices that you make. So you don’t have to swap outfits every time you begin a quest. Even if your character isn’t dressed in wizard robes when you enter a class, they’ll automatically be in a robe when you start the class quest.
The clothing is not a requirement in this game it’s a way to customize your wizard. The coins go toward buying new clothes and other looks for your wizard.
